one sunday morning i overheard my youth mentor/teacher asking elena whether she can cope, cos she's juggling school & designing stuff for our silent retreat camp + other church & art commitments. then i heard elena reply happily “不会啊！做主的工不会累!"
it was inspiring & encouraging. serving God is definitely not easy, esp amidst our busy lives..
but when we're so caught up with fatigue & stuff, it's always uplifting to be reminded that God will provide us strength (: & that it is and should be a joy doing His work (:
then again.. of cos that's not to say we have to keep adding things onto our platter of service. i guess we must be able to learn how to strike a balance? & see how we can serve God most effectiv
